The atmosphere and emotional aspect is what keeps me coming back, the performance itself is indeed excellent but the package wouldn't be complete otherwise. I struggle in returning to technically proficient albums that I don't connect with on a more instinctive level. Pushes it beyond the realms of 'this is quite interesting'.

Tbh I just jump on the drums train because it’s become a meme in this thread. They are of course incredible, but I don’t think they necessarily stand out as leagues ahead of the rest of the band in terms of musicianship. I definitely think everyone pulls their weight.

I find Happiness to be one of the few DGD albums I can still tolerate outside of High School but yeah I still find it to be overrated even with that considered.
