The amount of creativity and and ambition poured into this album is so insane for a debut. I haven't sat down and listened to this from start to finish in a long time, but I always find myself putting on The Twilight is my Robe from time to time when I need a dose of nostalgia.

The Twilight is my Robe oooooh yeah one of their best tracks. And those solos oh my.
I just finished the whole thing for the first time in forever too. Still holds up very very nicely. So creative and twisty-turny indeed.

Not listened to this before, but it's pretty good. I'm getting some Iron Maiden and (very early) In Flames vibes in certain passages of this, mixed in with that classic Opeth sauce.
Just put the Abbey Road remaster version on for a back-to-back comparison.
