Actually never heard it, but based on pretty much everyone's testimony, it can stay that way

Yeah regardless of where one would rank them, they made 2 absolutely stellar albums

Ooo will check Devastation and Solstice. I checked Obliveon and Aspid before, both kick ass but this beats them imo

Carnivorous Obsession will always be my fav track on this album, I swear it’ll never change, the grooves are too good

Just bought the vinyl

I used to check all the time for this record and could never find it, just went on amazon and saw they did a repressing last year

Fuck yeah m/

Saw them with Suffocation back in the day, that show was bananas

Actually just saw Death and Cryptopsy at that very same venue like 5 days ago

Yeah man, unfortunately I moved away from most of my metalhead friends that I grew up with so now I can only jam it with them at some unspecified time in the future

For now Im just going to force my neighbors (who only listen to hip hop) my fiancee (who only listens to pop punk) and my coworker financial friends (who definitely have never heard of Demolition Hammer) to listen to this with me when I have them over for beers lol

I have basically no IRL friends who are into metal (that I would hang out with)

I used to have a lot more when I was in high school/college but yeah now none of them live near me so it's just me freaking out about new records by myself and on here lol

My brother is into metal but not anything TOO crazy, I lose him pretty quick once I go off the mainstream stuff

My roommate is a huge hip hop head and doesn't give much of a fuck about metal, but that doesn't stop me from talking at him about it lol

Mainstream metal is barely metal anyway, or at least it's not a very good representation of it.

Yeah I mean I didn't show him Opeth because of the death metal vocals and one day he was like ""DUDE WHY DIDNT YOU EVER SHOW ME THEM" so its always confusing how far I can push him with metal

And he's the one who got me into metal way back in the 90s, if it wasnt for him God knows what me and all of my friends would be listening to now. But he showed me Fear Factory, nu-metal, thrash metal (the big ones like Metallica and Slayer, not shit like Coroner or Voivod lol), Pantera, etc

My cousin is into metal but it's confined to like Leprous, Iron Maiden, Tool right? If I were to show him this for example he'd be like holy fuck this is too heavy for me
