I like this album a lot, though the guitar work is patchy in some spots, as is the songwriting. It's not as evocative, atmospheric or unique as their later albums, though it is definitely a great debut that shows a ton of potential.

I rate Hallways, one of the best here. Dead Winter Days, on the other hand, is one of the most amateur-sounding tracks they ever released (especially when compared to As Embers Dress the Sky)
