Maybe a song or two at most. Or maybe I could be surprised and like more Tom songs. But Tom has had enough chances by this point for me to be pretty confident that his voice isn't the one I want to hear fronting Jimmy Eat World. No offense to the Tom fans. Static Prevails is an awesome album and one of their best. Now, if Jimmy Eat World were fronted by Tom instead of Jim and Jim had never sung a word, they would be one of my favourite bands. BUT they wouldn't be the band I've obsessed over for 17 years, and that has become a major part of my personal identity. They would just be an awesome band that I love to listen to.

I'd be up for more Tom-fronted stuff but his songs would have to feel like they fit on the disc. Action Needs an Audience felt so out of place on Invented, especially where it was on the tracklisting.

Yea Damage was pretty tepid, hope whatever new album they release either has some fun melodies like CTL or goes super deep like Futures. Really, they haven't released anything I've fallen in love with since 2007.

his solo stuff is pretty cool but its quite old fashioned pop. i like it but its not like the full band. the covers are really interesting. all in all its worth checking out

not a fan of the title. not very "rock". also wasnt a big fan of the song "integrity blues" when he played the song on his solo tour. oh well i will reserve judgement.
