Hey everyone, this is Aric from Night Verses. Just wanted to say it’s amazing to see 64 pages (5 years) worth of comments on our previous release. It’s awesome to know how much you’ve all connected with “From The Gallery of Sleep.” I don’t normally ever comment back on things like this, but this particular forum has shown a great deal of support and we (Night Verses) very much appreciate it.
As far as the new record, it was split into 2 halves for a lot of reasons. A huge part of that was to make sure our fans didn’t have to wait an extra year for new music to come out. Especially given the vinyl schedule we had to work with. But just to clarify, it’s only half of the full album. So all those comparing it to FTGOS, I’d suggest holding your comparisons till the 2nd half is released. That would be like judging the last record without hearing Phoenix, No.0, Infinty Beach, Earthless, Balboa, etc.
That being said, we appreciate you and we’re stoked to bring you more music. All the best. -Aric
