I mean I was already disappointed in this when I first heard it but I really tried to like it. Now I just don’t care.
The band is doing a meet and greet at a record store near me, might go and ask the tough questions y’know

This album is such a bummer. I haven't ever disliked an Underoath album, however 'Erase Me' is about as bland as it gets, especially for a comeback. Hopefully the new Hopesfall delivers. Judging by the single they've released, it's on the right track.

As a newcomer to Underoath, I think this is pretty good. Catchy, but emotional and different enough to stand out. Yeah, I get that people dislike this because of its more mainstream direction compared to previous albums but it's still good on its own. Just my 2 cents

As an old fan of Underoath (having been around since Cries of the Past) I'd say the album is definitely a step in the right direction.
Don't know why Sputnik's so butthurt about the album... sure, there's some songs that are lackadaisical, but for the most part the band's accomplished a more polished, mature and accessible sound that is bound to cement their legacy.
'Aloneee at the top of the worrrldddd'

Disambiguation was their most polished and mature sounding album, agreed they didn't need this album. Sure this album is more accessible but it also sounds uninspired sooo

The one main gripe I have with Erase Me is that sometimes it can get repetitive since most of the songs have the same basic structure. But I still find it very fun to listen, preferably with the volume up. The industrial elements could have been even more pronounced, or they could have included another song like No Frame because it simply rules.
