I didn't really used to listen to Converge but this album is amazing. Except for the couple of songs, everything is kind of psychotic and heavy. I definetly want more

Go backwards, the one before this would be a good follow up & Axe to Fall is accessible too (but completely different).

Yeah...definitely go backwards...the two previous ones are better than this one, heavier, keep in mind that some songs will grow on you the more you listen to them

RYM is good for the ratings, but they unfortunately severely underrate some genres. The writeups can be cancerous too

If anything this is getting worse on repeated listens, absolutely no depth here whatsoever. Might be dropping my rating.

@robot im so mad they played trigger. song was terrible.

amazing show, but again, when ur the best at this im gonna be butthurt I dont get your best songs. Its easy to see they are aging and bannon cant do too many screaming-vocal-intense songs especially in a row, but still loved it.

Reptilian almost brought the building down and last light was a WONDERFUL surprise

i would have thought it was funnier when the dude in the crowd said 'play saddest day' and bannon said 'haha that song sucks' if they didnt proceed to then play trigger which is easily bottom 10 converge songs

other than that they picked good dusk in us tracks but I really wish I could have seen cannibals. broken by light was a bangeerrrrr tho

Damn, I'd love to see Last Light. Probably a top-10, maybe top-5, Converge track for me.

yeah i’m sad they didn’t play cannibals. I know you hate trigger but I like it and I thought it was a really fun when they played it. one of the highlights of both nights for me was a single tear. crowd was so into it.

the first night I was in the back, but last night I was up front and I am unbelievably sore right now haha. do you like the album any more now that you’ve seen a bunch of the songs live?

oh also do you know what happened to the guy who was wearing a hat who kept going on stage in the beginning? bannon took him the fuck out when the guy tried grabbing him a third time. I never saw him again after that

What Dusk tracks did they play out of curiosity?

night one was: Reptilian, Under Duress, Arkhipov Calm, A Single Tear, Dark Horse, The Broken Vow, Aimless Arrow, Black Cloud, The Dusk in Us, Eye of the Quarrel, Broken by Light, Worms Will Feed/Rats Will Feast, Eve, I Can Tell You About Pain, Eagles Become Vultures, Concubine

night two: Reptilian, Under Duress, Arkhipov Calm, A Single Tear, Dark Horse, The Broken Vow, Aimless Arrow, Black Cloud, The Dusk in Us, Eye of the Quarrel, Broken by Light, Worms Will Feed/Rats Will Feast, Trigger, Empty on the Inside, I Can Tell You About Pain, Eagles Become Vultures, Last Light

so the only ones they didn’t play were wildlife, murk & marrow, cannibals, and thousands of miles between us. would have loved for them to have switched out black cloud on the second night for cannibals.

I'll be seeing them Wednesday so now I'm all sorts of stoked. Good to see some of You Fail Me and Axe to Fall make its way in there.

Holy fuck, that's way too much Dusk for me. I hope they aren't playing that set the whole tour.

I think you guys should take it slower and not be so emotional upping and downing the rating ahaha. Try not to listen to it for some time, go back to it from time to time. Change the mood...I get the lack of depth critic (though i think it as some) when compared to previous works, i still like a lot this record and i think it does not deserve a 3. The 4.5 is arguable, i think the more cold rating for this would be somewhere between 3.5 and 4.

It's closer to a 3.2 or 3.3 but I rounded up because I'm nice. Also, I've listened to the album about 20 times, so I'm feeling relatively firm on that opinion.

Some times when you love a girl...and you love her so much that you want to be with her all the time! then you get tired of it, but you didn't truly stop loving her...you just need some distance to get your head straight and figure out what you want and how much you love her ahahah

I guess i ve listened to the album over 20 times...im a little tired of it right now also
