Eclosion is the best and if you disagree you are a bit silly

Mmm... Eclosion, that's my shit. I can see why people like Kodama best. Imo, barring Onyx, which isn't really much of a song, the worst song on here is Untouched which is still wonderful.

This is definitely my favorite Alcest, Ecailles is amazing and hits some crazy good high points, but I feel this one tops it moment to moment, as this never stops being consistently awesome throughout.

Production is perfect yea. First three tracks always blow me away, they really pushed themselves here after playing it pretty safe with Voyages and Shelter, as excellent as they are. This matches Ecailles with how well made and consistent it is.

Yup Talon, I think some of us, including you, had a conversion in one of the threads about the best 3 songs in a row on one particular album. These first three definitely qualify.

It's definitely a good example of a great mix without compromising dynamics for loudness. Solid EQ choice too. Love the drums on this too.

Still working through this band's discog (haven't heard Ecailles or Voyages yet) but are there any other blackgaze acts out there with more emphasis on the gaze than the black like this band has?
