It's funny. I rank Gorguts's albums in the order they were released. I prefer this over Obscura by a margin. Colored sands over this by a hair. And Pleiades' Dust is in just another dimension in my book.
How someone likes Obscura better than this is still a mysterious thing for me

I can tolerate old school death metal, as recent bands can´t really grab my attention, but don´t know why i immediately enjoy any Gorguts album everytime i decide to listen to it. Maybe its the weird jazzy structures or the atmospheric passages, but this canadian Band is, in my opinion, one of the best death metal bands ever.
