Might be the effects on the vocal track on the first track and on the second the vocal melodies just don't fit with the rest of the track.

Gonna have to disagree with you there, I think the effects on the vocals for the first track give it an eerie vibe, and the melodies on the second track are fine. How do they not fit?

You guys are seriously underrating O' God tbh
Norma Jean is pretty different from album to album though so I have a hard time ranking them. I do agree that Anti Mother is their worst but I still really like it.
