in their defense, it wasn't much of a review
(it was a response to a position espoused in
channing's review that had little to do with
this album and more to do with a blanket
condemnation of our site's admittedly
deplorable userbase (of which I am a part of))
i made my point and they left it up long enough
but thats not really a discussion we're having
anymore. channing's review isn't flagged for
this anyway.

Oh fuck me, after listening to it again, I think I absolutely adore the new song, by the way.
The lyrics are pretty cringey at points (basically the bridge) but the wahs in the background and the brass is really great, and the lyrics aren't all that bad when you consider the video where she kinda makes fun of her contemporaries for playing pop music straight without any sense of humor
