It would be dope as fuck if they close their final show ever on July 5 with a 20 minute version or so of the song 'Black Sabbath'

all of this is making me really wanna do a Black Sabbath deep dive… is Forbidden really that bad?

I know there’s a song with Ice T, which isn’t inherently bad but god damn that seems very forced for this band specifically

part of Forbidden sucking was the production stunk. The new remix fixes that, so it's probably on par with the rest of the Tony Martin stuff more or less. It's not a totally horrible album, just kinda running on fumes a bit.

yeah check the 2024 remix. it goes from being a painfully boring album to one that's not bad at all.

Considering that Martin's era generally sucks, I wouldn't call it a "salvation" either...

unfortunately it ended in the most predictable possible way...

but that may have to do with the total time allocated to each artist...

Didn't understand this from the start. A great follow up for the sabbath bloody sabbath. So many great songs.

Was in a record store the other day, I struck up a conversation with the owner about Ozzy which naturally led into Sabbath. He asked what my favourite record was, without hesitation I said I'm partial to 'Sabotage' these days and he laughed in my face followed by "ReAlLy!?".

I stand by it. MOR is my most played and is pound for pound the best, but Sabotage is nipping at its heels and has some of the best Sabbath tracks (Symptom and Hole). I asked what his fave was and he said 'Paranoid', no surprises there- classic, but I overplayed the hell out of it.
