This band have not aged well (musically, I don't mean the state of their hip joints). I fear future generations will scratch their heads in a similar way to kids approaching Never Mind the Bollocks do now.

Yesterdays revolution is tomorrow's dull history homework.

I feel similarly about them - I have happy memories watching them play london in support of the Los Angeles album, lost both my shoes in the pit by the third song in.

Zach turning up on the RtJ album last year was great

That is because kids now are bland, clueless self absorbed fuckers who don't know how to attack what's wrong because their fooled into thinking everything is right.

Heaven forbid they'd actually start their own band with a fresh, inventive zeal which asks questions

Zak's lyrics are from 1991, all of the problems he's mentioning have been solved.

Honestly, if I had never heard of this record or RATM before and someone told me it came out yesterday, I might actually believe them

Considering the production of other records from 1992 like AIC's Dirt and Pantera's Vulgar Display of power, it sounds a lot less like a product of its time
