i hated that people didn't like it for that reason too. i just don't like it. i keep up with opeth, so i knew there weren't gonna be growls or metal riffs for a long time before it came out. i'm not the least bit butthurt about that. it just isn't a good album, unfortunately.

Yeh 3.4 average is fucking ludicrous. When the fans found out that there weren't gonna be any growls or Methuuls their attention span just went straight down the well. Its a pity, i definitely consider this one of Opeths most interesting records.
