Can someone explain to me why Rody doesn't scream on Scurrilous? Will he in the future?

This is still the band's best (boom! I sed it!) .

I totally get why other people are disappointed but for me Scurrilous is like a tidy representation of everything I enjoyed from Fortress condensed into catchier riffs. Though one thing that still catches me off-guard is how people claim that they don't like Scurrilous for its sloppy songwriting, whereas I'd venture to say Fortress was even worse in that department.

agreed. the music here is solid as fuck. the only reason for not liking this that i could understand is the drastic change in lyrics and the lack of harsh vocals. personally, i think rody kills it on this record.
