I mean Meshuggah has been my favorite band of all time (and the only band I dared to get a massive tattoo of) since like 2002 or something but morbid angel is still one of my all time favorites
Not the heaviest by a long shot, but the song writing is off the charts and Trey has some of the best riffage, if not THE best in the genre imo
