Nah I like it about 4/5 it's a little bit too ambitious for its own good i THINK I don't know it's very well constructed and beautiful but it feels a bit contrived at times.

I introduced these guys to my co-workers at HMV the others night. After the store was closed I put "Marigold" on and cranked the volume, it sounded incredible. I could feel the bass at the end.

The thing is, like Gyro said, you could play this to almost anyone & they'd like it to some extent... Hence why I went for that line about hipsters, etc... towards the end.

Antidotes is a damn good debut, js.
Also fun. are super infectiously bubbly and loveable so I fail to see how your post re: Foreign Tapes could not be applied to Aim & Ignite as well.

Don't get me wrong, I love 'Aim & Ignite' (had it high up on my year-end list in 2010), but many find it too bubbly, theatrical, etc...
