I prefer to assume as such
In any case the last two 40 Watt albums seem more comparatively positive i.e a healing from the dissolving of a relationship actually coming full circle. If it's all still about a long lasting relationship from 2 decades prior then yeah that's a little silly but I doubt it

honestly it would make no sense to resemble 40 watt since it's still an active project - i assume he wants 40 watt to be his more acoustic and sentimental outlet and for warning to be the heavier side. maybe playing warning songs live inspired him to create more stuff like it.
