Album Rating: 3.5
This is the worst.
Dirt
S/t
Jar
Face
Devil
Rain
This
This is pretty accurate, though the last few I’d swap around some. You got the top three right though, which is the most important part.

The songs themselves are good enough for me to ignore how shit the production is.

1. Dirt, JoF
T2. Facelift, BGWTB
T3. S/T, TDPDH, Sap
T4. Rainier Fog
Wooooooahhhh there, in no reality are Facelift or BGWTB better than s/t. Come on man, you can’t be serious. S/t is awesome from beginning to end, while Facelift is half awesome and half blah.

"S/t is awesome from beginning to end, while Facelift is half awesome and half blah."
Hell no S/t isn't awesome from beginning to end. Honestly, IMO there's nothing on there as good as Private Hell or A Looking In View or as good as the first 4 songs on Facelift.
This is also more consistent than Facelift because Facelift, as you said, is half meh while there isn't a single bad song on this.

I'm with you Larkin s/t is my second favorite but no way BGWTB is their worst. Worst is Rainier Fog by a fair margin. Even Facelift is more interesting than that one, and Layne's vox are supreme so it edges it for that alone.
S/t is all about the mood for me. Even though this has better songs it's not as consistent as the self-titled. The green album cover reflects how I feel like when listening to that one (like I'm on acid or something lol): https://i.postimg.cc/9QCqB7QW/Alice-In-Chains.png

I feel you man. And I don’t think this is their worst. Agree that Rainier Fog takes that honor, but it’s still pretty good.

Just listened to this and then the s/t. This is easily the best out of the two.

Got no issues with the production on this.

Very loud.
And idk why they insist on touring with the shittiest bands. I’m glad they’re headlining but last time was with Korn and now it’s with Breaking Benjamin and fucking Bush.

Acid Bubble and A Looking In View alone keep this from being their worst.

Don’t forget they toured with both Mastodon and Deftones on the same ticket back in like 2011. Amazing lineup.

AiC + Mastodon is such a no brainer. I wonder why they don't do it more often.
