"Finally got around to listening to this. Incredible album even for post rock and prog standards. It’s like ISIS, Sigh and Gojira had a love child."
old comment but where the hell do you hear Sigh in this?

Phenomenal release - one of the best in the genre.

The one post-metal album that doesn't bore me to death. Rhyacian is killer.

The Ocean that has remained steadfastly in wider rotation since first czech. Kinda forget they have other albums sometimes. That said, I revisited "Phanerozoic I: Palaeozoic" (shameful copy paste job, my wannabe palaeontologist kid self just despaired) t'other day and Jurassic remains an absolute barnstormer (just a shame that such a high proportion of the remainder couldn't live up to it). I know some like Pelagial but I didn't ever get into that one (may revisit).
tl;dr - easily their best

Instrumental Pelagial owns. It's so good.
PI:P is alright. There are about three songs on it better than Jurassic though.

Tha's a bold statement. Although truth be told, for me personally as soon Jurassic was released I went "that's the best song of the decade", a statement that 5,5 year later still holds true.
