I probably owned this album for over 10 years, listening to it here and there, before it actually clicked with me. It's amazing to me that a song like The Doorway had absolutely no effect on me for such a long time. Now I pretty much get goosebumps every time I hear it.

The Eye of Every Storm is the only Neurosis album that really clicked right away with me.
