First two are my least favourites of theirs. The later albums just do the sound so much better. Still great albums though. Don't get me wrong.

I say least favourite, but it is by a very very small margin. Band is super consistent imo and get better with each passing release. Dream House and Irresistible are all time Deafheaven songs though.

OCHL is one of my least fav albums of all time. I do dig Onfinite Granite but nowhere near as much as the first 3. And we all know my feelings on this one lol.

I do not understand the strong dislike for OCHL. It doesn't sound too huge of a departure from the New Bermuda sound to me. Infinite Granite is just a comfort album so me saying it is one of their best, I admit, is a bit ridiculous. But again, huge comfort album for me.
