i feel like if artists went in the studio with an all-killer no-filler mindset, and the longer albums are longer for a reason and it isn't just obvious streaming-bait, there'd be a lot less tracks that fundamentally feel like a waste of time. even some of the most classic of double-albums are fucking notoriously filler-laden tbh

TPAB is one of maybe 25 albums that deserves to be over an hour. And if I’m being completely honest, I’m being super fucking liberal with the number 25. I truly think it’s closer to 10… and even then I know off the dome there’s NOT ten records I have 5’d that are over an hour…

solid record, I’ll have to spin it again soon. I usually think metal bands making a single song that long is gimmicky as fuck but there’s a few that slip thru the cracks that I think are very good. For sure is one of them. Gorguts pleiades dust is another, even tho it’s an almost an hour shorter lol
