Colton I think kendrick thinks Canadian is a diss, what’s your take on that

Seems like Drake is going really hard on the wife beater angle but no one trusts him enough at this point to take him at face value without receipts
He's dug himself into this hole and it's hard to feel bad for him here

lol at people who were saying 'this aint the real punches yet' now being like 'damn he went to far.' most of the shit drakes saying about kendricks is just loose interpretations of this albums therapy concept, drake has documented evidence of paying off a rape accuser/photos&video of him linkin up with teens[not to mention drakes got a like essay long 'legal issues' section on his wiki mostly from being shitty with sample clearance/royalties/crediting/filing multiple restraining orders.] only like documented stuff against kendrick is drake fans postin uncredited ig screenshots from god knows when, no police report/cases just gossip sites/radio bringing it up for it to be denied/nothing ever came of it.

I hate when sputters talk about puns but when somebody let fly they turn into nuns

also the working with kodak black things definitely weird but outside of this beefs context I kinda feel like the mindset of 'oh he's not a saint either so he has no right to accuse someone of' is a goto tactic used by any entertainment lawyers trying to get a case dismissed, even when an accuser has clear evidence.

It’s not that I’m defending Drake, it’s that I’m not defending kendrick.

these guys are both fucking morons
|

they went from talking shit about who’s in the big three to accusations of domestic assault, pedophilia, straight up wishing death, and comparisons to one of the worst sexual abusers in the history of American entertainment. Most of it being on the basis of “trust me bro.” It’s not a stretch to say it went from “this ain’t the real punches yet” to “damn they’re going too far” because that’s exactly what’s happening lmao

I mean I get it and your not wrong but: kendrick calling drake a pedo wasn't an if but a matter of time. And if you go through like any 90s diss tracks death threats are pretty much ingrained into subset. Like 36s live by yo rep diss doesn't even have accusations its just 5 minutes of members talking about how they want to murder bone thugs lol.
But yeah much like the 2pac/biggie beef no one wants to see these dudes dead.

More like Aubrey groom amirite 😏

hyp wanted my opinion on Tupac and my opinion is I wish he wasn’t dead

I think it’s wildly unfortunate when music leads to actual violence, call me a pussy if you want

"But yeah much like the 2pac/biggie beef no one wants to see these dudes dead."
No one here will die this ain't the 90s anymore and these ain't 2 broke drill rappers from Chicago or New York who have nothing to lose.

I'm not saying that either of them can't say whatever they want, they're grown men and it's their lives and their consequences. I've mostly just been elaborating on my own thought process, not even telling others how to think. I only bring up the Kodak thing because it seems like picking and choosing on Kendrick's part and I feel like whatever Kendrick thinks is bad for the culture that Drake does, Kodak is 100% the same kind of person. There are a thousand ways this shit could have gone that would have been more fun to watch but Kendrick has evidently hated Drake for years and this was a serious attempt at ending him.
Frankly, I'm curious to see how this whole situation unfolds in the weeks to come. Too soon for any final verdicts. We need receipts and there may be more disses in store. People are gonna be talking about this for forever.

I get ya and my whole 'dismissive tactic' goes both ways where drake shouldn't be outright disregarded if he's got a valid point, most of my kodak response reactions more towards seeing twitter bots spam it alongside the 'kendrick stood for r Kelly's music on spotify' thing(which was actually his label heads movement but sure). I think everyone here's processing it in their own way, but yeah this week's been wild lol
Also my worry for upcoming weeks is how petty the damage controls going to be, they've both got enough money to get people to do things to their benefit whether it's smear campaign-esque or worse.

Not sure where the confusion lies when Kendrick is openly calling him a child predator... Ken's history with being open honest and genuine should be ringing alarms for whatever Drake camp is left

See I believe there's a difference between giving a reason for conclusions v. just stating a position. This beef is nasty, and the moralistic posturing reflects on Kendrick rly badly if the Whitney accusations are true. Dot has thrown enough accusations now that I think he should focus on recieptin' for a moment; dirty but not obsequious should be the tenor of Kendrick's assault from now on. I just take offense to fatalistic whining when serious analysis benefits the conversation so much more

Incredibly odd to see people concerned about a comically unlikely hit coming out of this and not the alleged OVO sex trafficking ring
