Hell yeah!! Idk if I like this more than either one if the aforementioned albums but it doesn't matter. Band slays so hard.

Grievances is my favourite. Cosmology rules too.

The goodbye, goodbye part in Almost Always is fucking burned into my brain. I still get a chill down my spine during that part. And the extended drop-in for Drip is fucking nuclear. Need new music from these guys ASAP

Not sure how this compares to its predecessor. Its (almost prevalent) softer side does tend to get a little too sappy for me, as pointed out in the review. Almost Always slays though. And when things get heavy it's reeeeally good. Prescience has to be one of my favs here. I also love some small production choices they make, like the clacking sound that accompanies the piano, feels really intimate.

You know what after a steady week of rotation, I'm really liking this. Closer and Stumbling don't do much for me, but the rest is pretty phenomenal, and all tied together beautifully.

The part in Almost Always where it says "are you listening to your heart? What happens if it stops" really hits different.

I've spent the last week watching youtube videos of these guys live and damn they are an amazing live band and these last 2 albums are even better than I realized. They put out a live album today. Lucky me

Been yonks since I’ve seen them (they were basically kids) but yeah!

I didn’t even realise they had a live album out. I’m not a huge consumer of such things but maybe an exception is in order?

The setlist is perfect but I actually like their studio sound more than their live sound tbh

Man how did I find The End of Eternity to be an underwhelming closer when I first heard this, probably because it ends on a more hopeful note than Time Will Die did. But nah, that closer is amazing.

Yeah I actually like this more overall than Time Will Die now, even though nothing will top Flood of Light for me - also Aftermath is beyond perfect

But overall, as an album, this is tighter imo
