also, bumping this to a 5. This album can be very therapeutic for me despite its bleakness and melancholy, it's the kind of sadness that pulls you in, making your inner turmoil more conscious and upfront, making you deal face to face with your own bullshit, to the point that it makes you so uncomfortable, that it actually makes you feel motivated to actually go and try to change what brings you down, so this kinda is hopeful for me.

I miss Layne sooooooooo much. But he was in a shitty environment with shitty bandmates (Jerry didn't care, Mike Starr didn't even try to change his habits, Sean couldn't do everything by himself and Mike Inez decided not to get involved somehow) and he was like he was prepared to commit suicide by drug abuse, he lost the will to live....
