Oh yeah, you're right. I actually forgot about it. Re listening to it now and it's better than I remember.

Goddamn this thread exploded. After repeated listens, I've come to the conclusion that I enjoy the album quite a bit. It's fun music for fun people that doesn't need to be taken seriously. Is it the most technical album? Far from it. But that's not why I come to Periphery anyway. It's a relaxing listen when I just want to enjoy music without being critical about it. Putting it a different way: Periphery is the 'Fast and Furious movie franchise' of metal for my tastes.

As much as a do like Garden and Smiles, I do agree with DDD where they should have been heavier tracks, all songs should have had (at least 1) riffs as heavy as Blood Eagle in each song, the album was labeled as being really heavy and I get that criticism

oh TKS Tundra...that must've been pages ago but pretty recent lolol but I only wished I liked more the soft poppy songs, these in particularly don't fit my tastes...I don't think exactly they needed to be heavier. But if I'm to be totally honest I'm pretty crazy about those first 3 m/

There you remain coherent rafalafa X)

Blood Eagle is the most m/ song they’ve ever done hands down.

Is anyone actually doing that or is that just how people are able to handle when other people criticize albums they like

This is one album where I could see and understand the rationale behind every single rating

That doesn’t often happen
