still its a pretty dumb question to ask; "Why listen to anyone with a sincere passion for music contribute in a demonstrably consistent and well-reasoned way about a downloadable experience that you've also donated hours and feelings to?"

I don't think it's unreasonable to think listening to Fantano is a waste of time if you generally disagree with his opinions. He's pretty hyperbolic and tends to bandwagon rate popular releases, imo.

I haven't checked any of his reviews in over a year though, so if he's gotten better, good for him.

Only subpar Fantano review's I've seen off the top of my head were for Deftones' Gore and the album The Most Lamentable Tragedy. He can get somewhat ranty with lower scores if he's irrated enough
