im lucky enough to have sat front row on their R30 tour some 12 years ago or so.....truly incredible and a totally different experience from every other Rush show i've been to because i never sat that close.....ged threw me a shirt that was spinning in the dryer the entire show
that was my moment

Meet and Greet 2/3's of Rush yeah. Heard Neil is not exactly good with fans.

Ha, no way Titan? That's awesome; keep that damned shirt lucky son of a bitch lol!
I don't think I've ever been to a bad Rush show.. I mean some were better than others depending on the set, but they've always been solid.. sounds like a hurrah experience dude.
Is Neil bad with fans? I've heard that before but other guys always seemed genuinely nice

the shirt is now framed with the ticket stub and the R30 blu ray package.....the back of the shirt says "Hey Man, this shirt came from Geddy's Dryers"

that would be very cool, what was the shirt? I got a drum stick from the Ozzfest show I attended in 98, the stick was from "drum roll Please" Slipknot, yep you guessed it, I was like ok what should I do with it, this little kid next to me was like oh my god, I gave it to my roommate to give to his little bro, if it was from Ward it would of been a different story of course.
I heard Neil didn't do meet and greets, the other 2 would be cool though, talk to Geddy about the Cubs you know hang a bit

i also caught nicko mcbrains signed drum skin on the final frontier tour.....framed it with my brothers ticket stub and the vinyl record.....gave it to him for his birthday

I have seen that, at least he is honest about it, and it is Neil so he can do as he pleases, also very sad about his family, that might make him a little weird as well

It must not be easy being one of the best drummers of all-time let alone being personable to all those fans. ha-ha! I can't fault Neil; he said his peace; it's not his thing, but he wasn't a dick about it either. Seems kind of phobic about the whole process.. it is what it is at least he acknowledges it.

yes very sad, the first time I saw it made me cry, at the time my wife had cancer and I had a 2 year old daughter, made me think about the worst, and how terrible it would be

I didn't know anything about his wife/daughter..it must be weird dealing with fans especially with the amount of information on things we have access to nowadays; I can sympathize with Neil, cancer is absolutely terrible.. I've dealt with it in the family/friends department a few times.. bloody nightmare turned into reality. Wham, I'm sorry you and your wife had to go through that.. hope everything is okay!
