Everyone on the band's reddit is talking about how Jesse should make solo material or form a new band. To me that makes zero sense. If he was the issue, why would it make sense for him to continue with a different band...it should be the opposite of that if anything lol. I can sort of see solo stuff, so that way if it backfires in a huge way he's the only one suffering through it. But even then...

I think people assuming that Jesse solo material would be just like BN are taking a leap of faith that also undersells what the other guys brought to the band. Was Jesse the heart and soul? Yes. But never overlook what collaboration and chemistry brings to a sound. Jesse alone may see the atmosphere lose a lot of its magic.

the band doesnt deserve enough benefit of the doubt that id ever want to do that either tbh. maybe if the band made literally any kind of statement and stood any ground and anything other than quietly disappear but they showed absolutely no backbone. ive seen more spine in jellyfish



jesses voice was probably one of the worst parts about this band anyway tho. he got the job done but he was hardly remarkable
