almost definitely, it draws a lot from Blue and has a couple Pinkerton-esque moments as well (particularly "Do You Wanna Get High?")

nice. it's good to hear they're finally recovering from that massive fuck up that was their discography.

yeah, just dont get the impression that this is going to be like Blue or Pinkerton, though. Its more like what Weezer should've ended up writing when they jumped to a poppier sound.

Nah but it's good. I love how savage Art is towards this album, it cracks me up.

you think he thought he was being clever when he sung about god taking adam's rib and microwaving it on the popcorn setting? all their music is just a laugh and thats 90% of the appeal. i think anyone taking any of weezer's lyrics seriously is realy missing the point.

Our work place was playing Jacked Up and Wind In Our Sails yesterday. It was pretty cool.

Anyway Pinkerton season is almost upon us so time for this one to go into hibernation until at least April.

I think in some respects it's a very underrated album and in others it's just an average weezer album. Have it at a 3.5 currently.

think its a 2.5 for me, felt a bit disappointed as it's not the 'experimental' album it is made out to be sometimes. has a couple of really good tunes tho.

I bumped it last year after having it at a 3, I definitely wouldn't call it experimental but I still listen to the singles and a few others.
