I completely understand not liking this record. What I have a tougher time with are the ones who really enjoyed Sempiternal and hate this one. Are they really that different? I'm sure a number of tracks from this sound like they would have fit in just fine on that album.

When a band built on bullshit augments itself with even more bullshit there's only one conclusion.

Normally for stuff like the at least the singles are worth a fun jam or too but this just sounds so lifeless.

i think they went too far with the whole stripped away cold electronic style they experimented with on sempiternal and really they just got rid of any personality they had left

sad that one of my favourite bands has turned into this but oh well shit happens

The sad thing is this probably sold very well so it's not they they're going to go down the whole progression route again. I had so much hope for them

Lmaooo at hearing a song off this playing at Subway. That's great. BMTH taking the cold-cutcore genre by storm

I enjoyed Sempiternal. And I think this is quite far away from that sound. This album holds little in common with any of their other LP's.

not true really imo, about half this album sounds like it was based off the feel of can you feel my heart

Yeah, but Can You Feel My Heart still had that "something" that distinguished it as being BMTH; this uses that as a template, but just ventures too far out.

Speaking of templates, I remember the first time my best friend, Norbacheeko, soaked a record. He called me on the landline 5 min after he was done fully soaking, and said "Hey!!! I owe you a Capri-Sun, because before today, I've never taken an album and soaked one, and it was so much fun, so thank you again cause I'm gonna soak this in again when I go for my afternoon run!!"
