red in the sky is amazing, sadly the production almost ruins it. two totally different albums tho, I love them both, just for different reasons.

If you don't like the production on The Red in the Sky... or With Fear I Kiss... check out the Peaceville remasters. They actually did a good job with those ones.

Thanks. Like your av too, Necromancer was always one of my fav classes on Diablo 2. Haven't played that game in a minute though.

I absolutely adore the production on Red Sky, it’s basically perfect. Less is more.

necromancer always was the coolest, the playstyle with him can be boring tho lol
well yea demon, that's the problem. it's too clean. but that's all subjective I guess.
edit: wait.. less is more? dude that shit got totally overproduced lol

I'm excited to hear it, I think these guys still have a few good riffs left in em.

"necromancer always was the coolest, the playstyle with him can be boring tho lol"
Yeah it can, I think it depends though. I never got sick of my bone necromancer as long as I was fighting players. But the summoning builds and shit...ehh, not my thing lol
Also ATG's last Facebook post says (about the new album): "But it connects with the deep roots of the band, and has connections with some of the themes on "The Red In The Sky Is Ours". Definitely can't wait to hear a new song, that sparked my interest pretty quick.

He wrote some solid reviews, even if his CoB/Shadows Fall ones were a little too fanboyish

Easily among the worst At the Gates releases and one of the most disappointing albums of 1995. If this doesn't prove that Alf Svensson was 95% of the band's talent, I don't know what does.

Yeah this album really isn't bad. It's not near as good as the first 2, but I like this one better than Terminal Spirit Disease.

I actually listened to this one first because it was the only album people told me to listen to by these guys for like 10 years and I never got the hype until I heard their earlier stuff
