yeah I can understand the production and the wall of guitar sound it has going on.
but there's definitely far more dense and crushing albums.

its very pummelling and immense at times. very. Some of the more post-metalish metalcore sections like those in nicholas and a new aurora are pretty crushing. I definitely like this better than any Neurosis album Ive heard.

yeah i know Ill get crucified ofor saying that, but while I find Neurosis's use of dynamics fantastic, somehow I still get bored and tired through a lot of their songs. Im not saying this is the most crushing and loud atmospheric metal album ever made but its a damn good one. And @fsharp if you were talking to me I listen plenty of metal.
