Yeah that filler-riddled middle section on LITSOS has always bothered me. Everything up to, and after it is pretty incredible though.

I wouldn't go so far as to say it sucks, but I also never really got how people could prefer it over Define. DTGL was practically a flawless record.

same. i mean, it doesn't suck necessarily, just comparatively. dtgl is one of the best albums the genre has to offer imo, and its followup was really tepid and generic, albeit it had some pretty decent songs

Agreed. Too Bright, Desperate times, and Emergency Broadcast were pretty great.

Yup. Desolate Earth was certainly no To Whom It May Concern but it still is a very nice atmosphere change and climax to the record.

yeah i don't think they would troll that hard lol. I'm hyped for an announcement though.

I really hope if its a new line up that Timonthy Mctague, Chris Dudley, and obviously Spencer are back. I can live with or without the rest

Wouldn't be surprised if they come back with a fresh lineup. All these bands recently have been calling it quits in their 30's, citing they want more time with their family, etc, but I think they all realize after only a few years that playing music is a vital part of their life and need to get back into it.

As long as Aaron just does backup vox with lyrics that Spencer writes

Yeah regardless of the lineup I'll be stoked. I just hope that if Chris doesn't comeback they get someone really good at making dank atmosphere.

I really dig Aaron but he is not essential, tbh I dig Spencer's cleans a lot more anyway. Even though i only have this at a 3.5 I still think this contains a few of their best songs and thought the final 2 songs they released were amazing.

High school me is wetting himself in anticipation.

Only thing less than a reunion I wouldn’t be completely devastated about would be a DTGL vinyl reissue

If they reunite they should dabble into their personal brand of post-metaly type songs more
