This has convinced me to finally binge this bands discography. I think Red may be even better than In the Court of the Crimson King.

Maybe, but "In the Court Of The Crimson King" was the beginning of everything, I mean, the beginning of the prog rock style music. So, it always will be a very special album for ever.

That is certainly true. In the Court of the Crimson King is far more influential and groundbreaking.

Larks’ Tongues is very groundbreaking too. Always preferred this but I must admit they’re getting closer. Don’t skip Islands. Discipline rules too, but I am assuming that’s on your radar
Ridiculously varied discog. A lot of reinvention

Absolutely. It always was one of my favourites. One of the most underrated works of them. Besides, I love its cover.

Title track of ISLANDS is honestly a Top 5 KC song.

SaBB is easily the worst album of their first phase, but I can't say I like Islands (except for the jazz interlude in 'The Letters', but it lasts thirty seconds or so).

For me sABB and poseidon are the least great albums of their first phase. But as both of them still rule, it just speaks for how awesome that first period was....

Poseidon is great in my opinion, back when I first got into Court, I wanted more of that, and Poseidon gave me just that, but I see how that's exactly what people hate about it.
