This an S/T are kind of neck-and-neck but I lean towards this I think. Depends on the mood, if I want pure grime then S/T all the way. I think Facelift is a bit overrated, some of my least fave AiC songs are on that.

This has tighter songwriting but s/t has Layne.

Facelift has some of my favorite songs but some of my least favorite as well, it’s easily their most uneven album.

New Chains has some of their best work so there's that going for it.

This is nowhere near as good as s/t lol. S/t is a strong 5. Possibly their best album, but I toggle between it and Dirt. They’re basically tied for me.

This and JoF are their best imo. Dirt is great but mad overrated

Dirt is def overrated. This is a much better album, but dirt has better songs and is weaker as a full package.

No way man. In no way is this a better album than Dirt. A lot of this is standard stuff.



But I mean, I was a teenager when Dirt came out and I became obsessed so maybe that makes a difference.

Yeah prob I heard Dirt when I was 20 and thought it was overrated as hell. Jar of Flies hit me immediately tho, that shit is cash money compared to Dirt. Dirt has like 5 or 6 totally w.e tracks on it which is frustrating when you have songs as good as the bookends and Rooster
