Can't agree with that, but yeah I love Old Man Gloom also (Mamiffer and SUMAC too) and Christmas is OMG's magnum opus IMO. Most of Turner's non-Isis projects fall under the ≤ Isis camp for me.

I was in oz that year they played that show and went to see them in Brisbaine and thought it would be great to have a space cake before. I went to catch the bus and next thing i know I woke up at the bus station at about 10pm meaning Id missed the show

I dont touch weed at all man, only on a come down off something else. Id been in the aussie sun all day and was goosed had a few hours sleep felt ok. Thought watching Isis on a low dose would have been the shit. Just completely KOd me.

Dude, Not even near as sad as walking away from a Neurosis set at a festival in 95/96 at 2 in theemorning cos i was tired. Literally watched them set up inside this tent (had never heard them) and thought 'fuck it im too tired' My number one 'if you could do one thing again' moment. Got to ask Scott about it last year was hoping hed go 'ahh that was such a shitty show my amp blew..etc etc' Instead he said it was awesome and was the biggest show theyd played up to then. Gutted.

Well I look at it this way I might have heard them and not been into them i was more of a hardcore kid at the time andthat could have led me to to future of thinking I didnt like that band ignoring them because my young pup brain wasnt ready for it. Timing and all that.
Now Im friends with some of them and get into Neurosis shows for free so Id say it worked out ok in the end.
