On the Kyuss vs. QotSA debate
I've always seen both bands as vastly different entities tbh. To me, Kyuss is basically "Sabbath stuck in a desert sandstorm" while QotSA is more mainstream rock with a stonerish vibe and a slight experimental touch. Always found Kyuss to be somewhat of a "metal" band. Both bands rule, but I find myself jamming Kyuss more often

Queens has some metal moments too, but yeah Kyuss is definitely more metal. I jam more to QotSA just because they're easier to throw on with different crowds while drinking. I don't listen to either one all too much though
