nah demi, you had said your fav parts were Roger's eccentric parts, the final cut is even further down that end but imo has less filler and is much more effective than this

you may love it man check it

agreed, and that's what I love about the final cut. lots of times on this it just gets melodramatic for the sake of it. if you read about Roger and how he feels about his father and WWII and war in general, the final cut definitely has some REAL anger behind it. this did too, but it's told thru a story of a fictional rockstar's rise and demise and yeah, it just gets goofy at many points.

if you know where Roger is coming from and can embrace his writing angle then you will prob love TFC

Eh, "Comfortably Numb" has slowly grown off me.

Comfortably Numb is easily one of my favourite Floyd songs. Gimlour's solo at the end is phenomenal.

As demi said, it is overplayed.

Unfortunately, filmmakers are predictable like that. They only pull from Dark Said, Wish you were here

and The Wall. Over time, even a song like "Comfortably Numb" can start to lose its hold.

No matter how overplayed it is that solo will always be one of my favourite moments in music.

That solo is definitely up there with Gilmour's best, along with the solos in Dogs.

agreed AHRD. as much as people give that album a hard time for being a "roger waters solo album" and whatnot, Dave completely makes many moments on that album. solos ooze emotion
