I would 5 it if it wasn't for The Grain. It's too long and goe nowhere. Everything else is quite incredible.

Agreed with Essence. It doesn't add anything to me

it's sorta different but i think the overwhelming pressure it provides really adds to the album, not feeling out of place for me at all

I change my mind, the Grain is a great closer and is a fitting end to the album

I hope it will eventually have the same effect on me but for now, album ends at II for me. Not saying they are on the same level but there was a time I didn't dig Odal so yeah

Not liking the Grain is understandable but not liking Odal should be a punishable offense

Honestly if you're listening to this album without Scars as the closer then you're listening to it wrong.

wonder why they didn't just include it on the original - why go through the time and effort of composing a monumental track that many will probably never hear

Agalloch is such an "album" oriented band it amazes me they even leave loose ends like bonus tracks out there.

What baffles me is that they're re-relasing this on Vinyl...and NOT INCLUDING THAT TRACK ON IT FFS!

Just...why?

For the glory of Satan, of course! Yeah that is dumb. Isn't it on the original vinyl or is it on the japanese version or...?
