I love A Fair Judgement but To Bid You Farewell is their best epic ballad

It was a time when I was not that much acquainted with harsh vocals yet and even though I liked their music, I would turn to softer tunes. Harvest, Patterns, For Absent Friends and of course To Bid You Farewell, all were playing unstopably.

Might have to agree with this.

Wreath sucks.
A Fair Judgment stands out on Deliverance because it's actually good.

The riffing in Wreath is decent but pretty basic for Opeth standards, some of the guitar leads are amazing though

Said it a million times but the riff that follows the 'atone for alllll you've done' part on Bleak is one of the best riffs ever.

Yeah that riff is pure gold. Even though this album has grown off me quite a bit, that part still hits every time i hear it.

Still hits just as hard as the first listen, honestly. I still think this one of the most brilliant albums ever created.

Fair Judgement's last doomy section is a waste of space imo. I never listen to it.
