Even if emotional moments come around less often in Bungle songs (which is debatable), I think they're more profound because of how little they resemble the rest of the song, its like an island in a stormy sea. For instance, the ending of Merry Go Bye-Bye (or Dead Goon for that matter). Their emotional effect is magnified tenfold by the fact that the rest of each song is chaotic, both feel like dying and going to heaven. It wouldn't be the same if the song up until the ending sounded the same as it

Hopefully that makes some sort of sense

Both bands hit right in the feels I guess I just find Bungle's emotional delivery a little more unique/profound/personal or whatev

@Jed

Wasn't it a bet that Roddy made the lyrics to test if Mike would sing the song and he went through with it?

Every Patton-helmed FNM album just got reissued on 180gm coloured vinyl, I've got those albums already but only my Angel Dust is on 180gm (the Mobile Fidelity master from a couple years ago)

If the new ones sound orgasmic might look into it
