That's because you're old ;)

Kidding, but since Geek USA is my favorite Pumpkins song I of course like them, even if it's not nearly as heavy as XYU or Tales.

corgi was doing a pretty bad-ass rendition of x.y.u. not too long ago

i mean, some of the parts were undoubtably "sp2" but it was pretty cool

tales remains to ever have been played live, meanwhile

Tales was actually played like twice but the song was very hard on Billy's voice so they just sorta stopped playing it

it mighta been "teased" but i don't think they've ever actually played it on its own terms or whatever

another one is "Whir," & that's just kind of a headscratcher

great lost Pumpkins song

Ahah yeah. For instance, Pennies is a fucking fantastic song, how that one didn't make the final cut here, or in any other album of theirs that came after to be honest, is ridiculous.

you say that but people were constantly complaining about the lengths of his albums not too long ago, still do now really

maybe it just comes down to a fault in the 90s "standard release schedule" versus the 80s (or even now) where you could basically put something out every year

corgan woulda probably done better in that kinda environment, instead of shoving so much to the side, even if a lot of that stuff ended up getting compiled or released in one way or another

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he made the next album like 20 tracks and said 'fuck it'. He's said himself he thinks the fanbase is gone.

Not sure I'd want 20 songs out of the current version of SP. They certainly had a lot of amazing stuff that wasn't on their main albums in the '90s, though.

i just want a new SP album. From what he's been saying in the past year or so, this new album should be pretty different from monuments
