Well Heinicke *has* been playing worse and worse, but he also was started and kept his job because Wentz wasn't putting the team in position to win. He's been healthy from his hand injury for a few weeks now, they just didn't want to play him.
I guess we will see how it works. Cleveland sucks, so maybe?

Wentz has a higher ceiling than Heinicke but simultaneously a lower floor. Washington has to stay competitive and get off the mat after recent struggles, so maybe they think Wentz can light a spark? They always have the option to throw Heinicke back in if Wentz has issues.
