I've been listening to Pelagial and Anthropocentric a fair bit recently, and I've come to the conclusion that it's the atmosphere coupled with the concept of this album that pushes it above the others. This album just feels so much more epic than their other albums.

end of Silurian riffs that hard but most of this album's in that Lake Disappointment / Mount Doom slow-burn arena. really nice change of pace and I'm sure the next record will pick up the pace again.
