Isis has terrible album art tbh

I respect your opinion. Terrible is just am exaggeration. I just find them uninteresting. Not bad, not good (:

i heard TDAG for the first time in 2010 and it came at a pretty critical time for me, so yeah I have a fair amount of nostalgia for it. but even aside from that I think it's a hard 5
anyway best track on here is still 137 closely followed by In the Water and 451

I'd agree, I don't have that deep of an emotional connection to TDAG (in a way, I actually have one more for this). That being said, TDAG is a 5 regardless.
This is better tho

I think people will always naturally have the strongest emotional tie to the record they heard first (or the one that ultimately got them into the band). For me that should be Deja (which I first heard in 2005), but TDAG is just a quantum leap and deserves the nod. Over 12 years I've come to outgrow Deja but I still have so many memories tied to it and appreciate it more than I typically even know. Anyway:
TDAG > SF = Daisy (right now, anyway...) > Deja > YFW

im still feeling like i prefer Daisy but Lit Me Up and Can't Get It Out might be better than anything off it

This album has been slightly slipping for me. I just can't get behind 451, Never Be Heaven, and 137 (blasphemy). The only god tier tracks here for me are Waste and Batter Up, meaning everything else is good to great IMO. Just doesn't stack up to Daisy or the GOAT TDAGARIM.

No wonder Same Logic is such an incredible song -- I guess it was written 12 years ago back in the TDAG era
