@Romulus: Yeah I know what you mean. I feel like this was something special production-wise at the time, but then Antonoff started producing every subsequent album he was involved in the same way. I don't think that should diminish how good this sounds, but you might be right in a historical context that this could age poorly as a result. Makes me kind of sad to think about.
