Getting a job that young sucks now. Most of the easy experience gaining jobs now usually require you to be 18 for the liability of dropping stuff, even if you realistically will never lift a box in your time there.

Yeah I don't think most fast food chains will hire that young, again liability issues. Every company is afraid of being sued to death. Try to find a small mom and pop store.
Asdfp I started working at 14ish at a dirtbike shop on weekends, but I didn't have a "serious" job till I was about 17

At the dirtbike shop they just paid me into my A/R account I had at the shop, so tbh I never knew how much I got paid.
At the "serious" job, around 500 every two weeks.

I'm 18 in two weeks and the only job I've ever had was a shitty paper round, whilst everyone else I knew worked their evenings and weekends away. It may be because I have no work ethic whatsoever but I would highly recommend enjoying free time rather than working at 16, unless there are special financial reasons you have to or are able to get into a career you enjoy, or job you will find interesting.
